Mailing list privacy

Here is what happens to your email when you ask for Attenta updates.

Who is responsible?

GLIMTHEIM AS (organisation number 835 890 112), Borgenveien 212, 1388 Borgen, Norway, operates Attenta. For privacy questions, access, correction or deletion, email attenta@glimtheim.no.

What do we keep, and why?

We keep the email address you submit, your chosen page language, and the times you requested, confirmed or left the list. We keep one-way hashes of short-lived confirmation and unsubscribe links. We use these details to send the Attenta launch note and occasional progress updates that you requested. Your consent, confirmed by the email link, is the basis for these messages. Joining the list does not create an Attenta account.

Who handles the data?

The mailing-list database runs on our Hetzner server in Germany. We use Resend to send confirmation, unsubscribe and Attenta update emails. Resend and its providers may process email data outside the European Economic Area. We do not add analytics or advertising trackers to this page. A light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser.

How long do we keep it?

A confirmed address stays on the list until you leave or ask us to delete it. Unconfirmed addresses and unsubscribed records are removed from the active mailing-list database after 30 days. Nightly database backups rotate after roughly 15 days, so an address may remain in a backup briefly after active removal. Confirmation and unsubscribe links expire after 24 hours.

Your choices

You can leave the list through the unsubscribe link in an email or request a link from the site. You can ask us for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion by emailing attenta@glimtheim.no. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
